The Carré Doré Gallery Monte-Carlo presents contemporary artists in the field of furniture and interior objects design. All artists presented in our halls are true art conoisseurs, that mix their own artistic preference with carefully conducted structural and technical research.
For example, here is a statement by the artist Teddy Delaroque:
"To create new works of art, I had to spend 2 years doing research in order to find the best quality of paint, and to add various effects to my artwork.
I had to travel to the United States several times to find laboratories that I could work with in order to come up with the best possible combination of paint and chemical reactions. The americans are far more advanced than Europe when it comes to the development of paint.
I managed to find paint that best adapts to my style and good products, that allow me to put forward a work of art of the highest quality.
After 2 long years of research and financial investment, the result has risen to my expectations. This isn't simply a matter of 'just paiting.'"

Trope
TROPE is an artistic duo of Carol MacGillivray and Bruno Mathez. The two artists met at Goldsmiths University in 2011 and started collaborating on experimental artwork by animating specific objects through selective attention. Using a technique that combines Gestalt grouping with projection mapping, they breathe life into inanimate objects.
They work from a studio based in South-East London.
Dr Carol MacGillivray comes from a background of animation and film editing. She spent 20 years working with documentaries, dramas, music videos and commercials. Carol taught film at the Royal College of Art; she became a senior lecturer in animation at the University of West London and in 2009 - an Associate Dean of Research and Enterprise in the Faculty of the Arts at that university. An increased interest in combining theoretical research and practice has led Carol to undertake a PhD by practice in Arts and Computational Technology at Goldsmiths University.
Bruno Mathez is a French audiovisual artist living in London. His creations can be referred to as experimental visual equivalents of different types of media or stage practices. Bruno has directed visual production for music concerts, operas, dance (award at the Monaco Dance Forum 2006) and theatre shows. His work was exhibited at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
Bruno is now specializing on visual music in space and interactive video sculptures. He also teaches the film-making course of the Masters programme of Composing for Moving Images at City University in London.
