Avalle Filippo
Filippo Avalle, born in Geneva in 1947, educated at Accademia Albertina (Turin, 1970. He lives and works in Brienno (Lake Como). Since 1999 he has been combining his artistic endeavours with teaching Techniques and Materials at the NABA School of design, Milan. Right from the beginning of his artistic career he concentrates on the project of one, complete final work “Ultimate Piece”, which in this case means the progressive creation of a work in its totality of an artistic production, aimed at a continuous research for a renewal of all the resources in painting, sculpture, architecture and lighting design. He took part in a number of high-ranking venues in contemporary art, i.a. ArtCologne and Biennale Internazionale d’Arte di Venezia.
